A hapless pooch was hit by a car and deserted in the middle of the street. Initially, he appeared lifeless; however, he sprang up and tried to flee when approached. The canine was severely disoriented, and intervention was necessary to prevent further injury. Luckily, Animal Aid Unlimited had dealt with comparable situations before.
Mitchell received treatment throughout the night, and though he was making progress, he was still disoriented and unable to stand independently. The possibility of permanent brain damage loomed, leaving rescuers to wonder about his long-term prognosis. Yet, after three weeks of bed rest, his traumatized brain fully recuperated. Today, Mitchell is lively and attentive! 🙂
