Renowned British chef and television personality Gordon Ramsay shared a personal health update with his followers this past Saturday, disclosing on Instagram that he recently underwent surgery for skin cancer.

The 58-year-old restaurateur posted images documenting the procedure, including a photo showing a protective bandage on his face and neck. A second image revealed a line of surgical stitches extending from his earlobe toward the base of his neck, highlighting the extent of the operation.

A Message of Gratitude and Caution

Alongside the photos, Ramsay expressed his sincere thanks to his medical team and offered a lighthearted take on his recovery. He wrote:

“Grateful and so appreciative for the incredible team at The Skin Associates and their fast reactive work on removing this Basal Cell Carcinoma thank you! Please don’t forget your sunscreen this weekend ❤️ I promise you it’s not a face lift! I’d need a refund…….😜”

  • A white, waxy area resembling a scar with poorly defined edges.

Medical experts advise scheduling a checkup if you observe any new growths, changes in existing moles, or a sore that refuses to heal.
