Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s Daughter Turns Heads with Stunning New Look in Music Video

The daughter of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie is once again capturing public attention. Currently, she is drawing eyes and sparking online discussions with a bold new aesthetic.

Having been raised in the public eye, Shiloh Jolie (formerly Jolie-Pitt) has always marched to the beat of her own drum. The eldest biological child of Pitt and Jolie famously preferred wearing outfits that matched her brothers’ and even adopted the name John for a time.

Pitt once shared that she went through a period of wanting to be called completely different names.

“Shiloh would only answer to ‘John’ or ‘Peter,’ referring to it as a ‘Peter Pan thing,’” the famed actor previously noted.

Angelina has always been highly supportive of her daughter’s individuality, remarking, “I don’t believe it’s up to the world to interpret anything. She enjoys dressing like a boy and prefers her hair cut like a boy, and for a time, she wanted to be called ‘John.’”

The actress elaborated, “Some children wear capes and aspire to be Superman, while she wants to emulate her brothers. That’s simply who she is. It has taken us by surprise, and it’s truly fascinating, but she’s so much more than that – she’s humorous, kind, and beautiful.”

Letting Go of Her Father’s Last Name

Shiloh’s style evolution has been a reflection of her authentic self—moving from cropped hair and tailored suits to a more dynamic and fluid sense of fashion.

When she celebrated her 18th birthday, she skipped a massive party in favor of a different kind of milestone. She marked the day by retaining her own attorney to officially drop her father’s last name, legally altering her moniker from Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt to simply Shiloh Nouvel Jolie.

Speaking on the legal name change, her lawyer Peter Levine stated that Shiloh “made an independent and significant decision following painful events,” emphasizing that publishing the information was just her “simply adhering to the legal process.”

“Shiloh Jolie did not take out an ‘ad’ announcing any name change, and any press reporting that is inaccurate,” Levine explained to People magazine.

He further clarified, “As Shiloh’s attorney, I am obligated to publish a legal notice because California law requires it of anyone wishing to change their name. That legal notice was published in the Los Angeles Times, as mandated.”

A Fresh New Look

It appears Shiloh is leaving behind more than just the Pitt surname.

Lately, she seems to be stepping out of her tomboy era as well. Recently, she has been drawing style cues from her 50-year-old mother, Angelina, swapping her short buzz cut for longer locks and trading in her suits for elegant, sweeping dresses. Yet, her most recent public showing could arguably be her boldest evolution so far.

Showcased in a teaser for the upcoming music video What’s a Girl to Do by DAYOUNG, Shiloh looks almost completely transformed.

Illuminated by soft, moody lighting, she radiates a profound, quiet self-assurance. Her poised presence points to a young woman fully comfortable in her own skin, proving she is far more than just a famous last name.

Notably, her role in the K-pop video wasn’t handed to her because of her celebrity parents. According to the Daily Mail, she has been quietly perfecting her dance abilities for years at the Millennium Dance Complex in Los Angeles, where instructors had no clue she was the offspring of Hollywood royalty.

Completely Under the Radar

She actually booked the gig via a standard open casting call alongside a dance crew. Starship Entertainment, the production team behind the video, revealed they were completely oblivious to her A-list parentage.

“We conducted an open audition in the United States to find performers for Dayoung’s music video. Among the participants were several artists associated with a dance crew named Culture,” the agency told Maeil Business Newspaper Star Today.

They elaborated, “Shiloh was chosen in the final round and ultimately participated in Dayoung’s music video. Even after the filming, we had no idea she was the daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, and we only discovered this by chance quite recently.”

No matter how she got there, viewers instantly spotted and praised Shiloh’s stellar dancing in DAYOUNG’s release.

“She inherited her mother’s lips”

The internet quickly lit up with reactions: “She inherited her mother’s lips but has her father’s face!” observed one commenter. Another stated, “She’s more like Brad Pitt’s identical twin.” Others chimed in with, “Mom’s lips and nose. Dad’s jaw and eyes,” and “Mom’s lips, dad’s face — now we can see his girl version.”

A few even noticed extended family traits: “I see a lot of a young Jon Voight,” as another user declared, “She won the DNA lottery.”

Her stylistic evolution has certainly been a fascinating ride.

Growing from a kid who loved rocking suits and ties—which Angelina dubbed her “Montenegro style”—into a young woman sporting a polished, K-pop-influenced vibe, Shiloh is undeniably coming into her own.

In addition to Shiloh, Jolie and Pitt share five other kids: sons Maddox (24) and Pax (22), daughter Zahara (21), and 17-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

Following a similar path, both Vivienne and Zahara have publicly dropped “Pitt” from their monikers, though it’s unclear if Vivienne’s change is legally binding.

Back in 2024, reports surfaced claiming Pitt had “virtually no contact” with his adult kids. Shortly after Shiloh filed her legal name change petition, a source told People that Pitt’s bond with the other children remains fractured.

“He has virtually no contact with the adult kids. His engagement with the younger kids has become more limited in recent months due to his filming schedule,” the insider disclosed to People.
