Animal Aid Unlimited responded to a call to rescue a stray dog who was dragging his hind legs on the ground. The dog had been hit by a car and required urgent medical attention. Despite his injuries, he remained friendly and cooperative and had a positive attitude throughout the ordeal, which greatly aided in his healing process.
The rescuers wrapped up Herman and took him to the animal hospital for a check-up. The X-rays showed no fractures, but there was evidence of a spinal injury. The fact that he was missing an ear, had been neutered, and had a very calm demeanor suggested that he had previously been a patient at the hospital. Today, Herman has made a remarkable recovery and is like a completely new dog. It’s truly heartwarming to see! 🙂
