Melania Trump’s Unexpected Epstein Denial Prompts Response From Victim
A victim of Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse has come forward to share her thoughts on the unexpected statement delivered by First Lady Melania Trump last week.
News of Epstein’s offenses had largely dropped out of the headlines—having been overshadowed by U.S.-Israel strikes on Iran—when Melania caught the public off guard with an address on April 9.
She vehemently denied any association with Epstein, dismissing the claims as politically motivated smears. “I never knew about his crimes against victims. I played no role whatsoever. I wasn’t involved,” she firmly stated, referencing a brief encounter in the year 2000.
The American public was left puzzled, as no new reports linking Melania to Epstein had recently appeared. Speculation quickly mounted that she might be attempting to get ahead of information that hasn’t yet been released. The exact details remain unclear.
Survivors of Epstein’s abuse responded with a collective letter, arguing that her statement places an unfair burden on those who have already courageously shared their experiences.
Lisa Phillips—who was victimized by Epstein at the age of 21 on his private island—hinted that Melania likely had underlying motives for making a point to say no “relationship” existed.

In an interview with Sky News, Phillips remarked: “We’ll learn why soon, days or weeks from now. Everyone reaches a limit. Nine months brought lots of upheaval.”
Speaking from the White House Grand Foyer, Melania pushed back against what she called “baseless attacks,” stating: “Epstein never victimized me or connected me to Donald Trump. We met by chance at a 1998 NYC event.”
“These falsehoods tying me to Jeffrey Epstein must stop now,” she demanded.
Phillips expressed skepticism over Melania’s proposal for survivor hearings, challenging her by saying: “I say prove it—what’s your plan? Contact victims first.”
“Why announce without acting? Why not start with: ‘I’m here. Survivors, reach out’?”
