Hope For Paws received a call about a pregnant dog who was found in a field next to a residential area. The Good Samaritan who called Hope For Paws for rescue, took care of the pit bull until help could arrive as she was near the end of her pregnancy.
Thankfully, the rescuers were able to take the pregnant dog to a veterinary hospital before she gave birth. They then checked to see if she had a microchip, but unfortunately she did not. So, they named her Waffles and gave her a bath. Fortunately, she was taken to the home of one of the rescuers to give birth in a safe and comfortable environment.
